I’m Jesse Ogle—musician, educator, and Co-Founder of iAM MUSIC in Durango, Colorado. Music has always been my language for connection. Over the past 15 years, I’ve worked to build bridges between artists across Colorado, from the Western Slope to the Front Range. I currently serve as Community Development Director at Roots Music Project in Boulder and hold an MA in Music. My passion lies in empowering musicians of all ages, helping them find their creative voices while strengthening the ecosystem that sustains us all.
My spark began the first time I felt a crowd connect—when energy, emotion, and sound all merged into something bigger than any one person. That feeling has guided everything since. Founding iAM MUSIC was about giving that same spark to others—creating spaces where students, professionals, and audiences can grow together. When I see young artists performing at iAM MUSIC Fest alongside seasoned musicians, I’m reminded why I do this: to build a creative community that celebrates artistry, supports each other, and passes the torch to the next generation. Music connects us—and through that connection, we all rise.
