Since the first crayon I ate, I’ve been passionate about fine arts. That early curiosity grew into a lifelong calling — one that led me to found a gallery, curate exhibitions, work as a graphic designer, and create fine art that weaves together creativity, community, and philanthropy. Today, my work continues to evolve within Durango’s vibrant art scene.
My spark truly ignited alongside my muse and partner, Lisa Morales. Together, we discovered that art doesn’t live within boundaries — it spills across forms, senses, and experiences. Our collaborations merge sculpture, textile, painting, poetry, music, and technology to create immersive, multi-sensory worlds.
Our exhibit Duality — A Solo Exhibit & Augmented Reality Experience explored the interconnectedness of opposites through sculpture, textile, painting, and AR, revealing both the seen and unseen sides of human nature. The next collaboration, Voices Inside My Head, brought together 30 poets and 30 of my paintings to animate the inner voices that shape us.
Now, with Sound of Paint, we’re inviting audiences to “hear” brushstrokes and “see” sound — pairing 27 of my paintings with original musical compositions. It’s an evolving dialogue between color and music, and proof that the creative spark never stops expanding — it just keeps finding new ways to speak.
